SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY: PRIMES PRECIOUS METALS

This Shipping & Delivery Policy is part of the Primes Precious Metals Terms of Service and applies to all orders placed through our website, in person, or via telephone, email, and text message. By placing an order, you agree to the following terms.

1. SECURE DELIVERY ADDRESSES

To protect our clients and prevent fraudulent activity, we operate a strict delivery policy:

  • Billing Address Only: Goods will only be dispatched to the billing address associated with the payment method used.

  • Excluded Locations: We do not deliver to PO Boxes, forwarding addresses, virtual offices, storage units, or third-party mail handling services.

  • Accuracy: It is your responsibility to ensure address details are correct. Primes Precious Metals is not liable for losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information provided at checkout.

2. DISPATCH, BACK-ORDERS, AND MARKET CONTINGENCIES

  • Availability: While we aim to dispatch in-stock items promptly, certain products may be subject to back-orders due to minting schedules or global supply chain constraints. We will endeavor to notify you of any significant delays.

  • Delivery Timelines: Our standard objective is delivery within 30 days. In exceptional circumstances involving production shortages, this may be extended.

  • Extreme Market Conditions: In rare cases of extreme market volatility, we may be unable to secure the underlying metal at the previously agreed price. In such instances, we reserve the right to cancel the order. You will be notified immediately and issued a full refund.

  • Non-Breach: Delays caused by metal availability, mint production, or courier constraints do not constitute a breach of contract, provided we keep you reasonably informed.

3. TRACKING AND SURVEILLANCE

Upon dispatch, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details.

  • Security Redaction: For high-value security, tracking information may occasionally be partially redacted or delayed until the parcel is in active transit.

  • Internal Trackers: We may include discrete electronic trackers within our parcels to combat mail theft. Please follow any instructions provided if you locate a tracker in your package.

  • Monitoring: Please monitor your tracking link closely to ensure someone is available to receive the delivery.

4. DELIVERY SECURITY AND RISK TRANSFER

All shipments are fully insured until the moment of delivery. Delivery is confirmed via:

  • Recipient’s signature;

  • GPS coordinates, courier scan data, or photographic evidence.

  • Transfer of Risk: Once the courier confirms delivery, ownership and risk transfer to you immediately. Primes Precious Metals is not liable for loss, theft, or damage occurring after the confirmed delivery.

5. MISSING OR DELAYED PARCELS

If your parcel is delayed, please check the courier’s portal first.

  • Investigation Window: Per insurer requirements, we cannot initiate a formal investigation until 14 working days have passed since the dispatch date.

  • Claims Process: Claims for non-receipt must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the shipment notification. Claims made after this window are ineligible for insurance reimbursement.

  • Resolution: No replacements or refunds will be issued until the courier/insurer investigation is concluded and liability is formally accepted. Your full cooperation in providing statements is required.

6. POSTAL FRAUD PREVENTION

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward delivery fraud. We cooperate fully with law enforcement and insurers to investigate suspicious claims.

  • False Claims: Any attempt to make a fraudulent delivery claim will result in the immediate reporting of the incident to the police and potential civil action to recover our losses and administrative costs.

7. OWNERSHIP OF GOODS

Ownership of the bullion transfers to you upon confirmed delivery by the courier. From that point forward, the goods are held at your own risk. If you arrange your own collection or private courier, risk passes at the point of handover to your appointed carrier.
